Other reports highlight tens of thousands of publicly exposed OpenClaw instances running without adequate protections, leaking configuration files, API keys, and personal data. 

Security analysts say the platform combines multiple risk factors,  local persistence of data, access to sensitive services and files, and automated execution,  into what some describe as a “lethal trifecta” that even traditional defenses can struggle to detect and mitigate.
